Stage Performance

On Wednesday 12th december 2007,in the Town Hall of Banchory,Aberdeenshire, Tibetan Monks from the Drepung Lubum Monastery (India) shared their Tibetan Culture by explaining concepts of Tibetan Buddhism and its perspective on World Peace and its importance for the World.

The programme included meditation,chanting, cultural dancing and prayers for World Peace.The Banchory Hall was fully booked and everyone enjoyed the Tibetan Cultural performance, and we were delighted to be able to offer the monks all the money raised on the evening, which was £1153 on ticket and coffee/tea sales.

Many volunteers helped to make this event possible and we thank all who put in so much effort to make the event a great success.
